Safeguarding
Given the nature of the client group safeguarding will be at the core of our practice. We will work closely with the statutory services to ensure this is embedded in our practice. Regular liaising and feedback will be given to the commissioning officers. The Manager will be the nominated Safeguarding lead. Necessary training will be undertaken to ensure that they meet their legal and moral requirement.
The needs of the child are paramount; therefore, we will adopt a child centred approach. By working closely within a multi-disciplinary team this will allow continuity. If specific needs are identified they will be met under the provision which will be put in place for any disability be it physical or emotional.
Domestic Violence and controlling behaviour will have to be given due attention within the referral process, and also within their risk and needs assessment to ensure that necessary security measures are put in place.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Compliant
We will work within the government framework under this directive, ensuring that the data of both parent and child meets the necessary security levels. Data protection will be adhered to at all levels and modes of recording process. Recording standards will evidence the work undertaken and we will undertake a Standard operating process (SOP)
